The person writing and sharing recommendations - normally an agronomist -will need an SB Pro subscription (£49/month) to share recommendations with their clients.
If you're a BASIS qualified farmer writing your own recommendations, then you would also need SB Pro to be able to share those with the rest of your team (spray operators, bookeepers etc).
In either case, those who get sent recommendations pay nothing, whether that's the farmer, the sprayer operator or the bookeeper. It's also free to add in 'as applied' information to recommendations that have been shared with you.
Nothing. Receiving recommendations from your agronomist or advisor, seeing them on the platform, and recording what you actually applied are all free.
If you want to write your own recommendations, you would need the SB Pro subscription to be able to share those with the rest of the team on the farm.
If you want to access our full Soil or Nutrient Management Plans you will need to purchase either the Soil Sage or Nutrient Nerd packages (or your agronomist/advisor can do so on your behalf). These are charged per farm per cropping year, so it's likely that this bill will be passed on to the farmer even if your agronomist is the one who actually prepares the plan - however farms in England with SFI SAM1 or NUM1 will received a payment from the RPA which far exceeds this cost.
No, and there never will be. Add as many people as you like at no extra cost.
Our SB Pro subscription is designed for agronomists and advisors writing recommendations.
The Soil Sage and Nutrient Nerd packages are charged per farm, per cropping year - but they unlock the farm (for the relevant package) for any user with access to that farm.
We are in the process of building out additional features, including a phone app, variable rate applications, and a stock module, which will require a farm level subscription. But this subscription will also unlock that farm on the platform for all users.
This is because the person who shared the recommendation with you (likely your agronomist) is not yet upgraded to our SB Pro subscription. You'll see the card, but you can't click into it or download the documents until the person who sent it is on SB Pro. Ask your agronomist - there's nothing for you to pay, either way
Yes - SB Pro is a rolling monthly subscription, so you cancel whenever you like - your SB Pro status will lapse one month after your last monthly subscription was taken. Any reports or snapshots you've already produced remain accessible. The two things that stop are
- the sharing of recommendations: recommendations you have sent (or send in future) will still appear as preview cards to the people you sent them to, but they won't be able to open them to see the details of the recommendation or add in as applied figures until you're back on SB Pro.
- map snapshots: watermarks will reappear on the platform and you won't be able to download map snapshots until you're back on SB Pro.
No. You can merge multiple holdings into one farm on the platform.
If a business has several SBI numbers (or multiple shapefiles) which have been uploaded - and you keep them as separate farms on the platform- then each one would indeed need its own upgrade. However, you can merge them into a single farm first using the Merge Farms button (under the 'Tractor' icon on the top bar), and then you only pay once for the merged farm.
It depends which product you are talking about.
Our SB Pro subscription allows a user to create and share recommendations for all their farms, in any cropping year. It's a monthly subscription, so while it is active, there is no limit on which cropping years you can work on.
Our Soil Sage and Nutrient Nerd products however are limited - each upgrade pays only for a single cropping year on a single farm. However, once you have paid, this is the unlocked forever. If you wanted to access your Nutrient Plan for a different cropping year, you would need to pay again to unlock that new cropping year.
No. Anyone can buy a Soil Sage or Nutrient Nerd upgrade at the standard rate of £200 (+VAT). Being on SB Pro brings that down to £150.
You would normally need to pay for an SB Pro subscription (£49/month) for each agronomist. Within that you can get unlimited spray recommendations and also basic nutrient reports for all your farms.
If any of your clients want full Soil Management Plans or Nutrient Management Plans (including spreading maps) then you would need to upgrade those farms to either our Soil Sage or Nutrient Nerd pacakges. As long as you have SB Pro, these will cost £150/farm.
You can save money by buying credits in bulk: 10+ = £5 off per credit, 50+ = £10 off per credit, 100+ =£15 off per credit. One credit buys either one Soil Sage or one Nutrient Nerd upgrade.

SB Pro is £49/month (or £500/year if paid up front) and covers the same day-to-day work as a Gatekeeper or Greenlight/Telus advisor license (normally £685-£950/year). For most advisors it therefore works out as at least 25% cheaper (as well as, hopefully, a lot easier to use and with much better support!)
