Please note, SB Farm is still required on any farm needing full soil and nutrient reports.
SB Farm
Unlocks the whole platform - Soil Sage, Nutrient Nerd, Crop Rex and SFI Shepherd - on one farm for a cropping year, for everyone who works on it. That's £325 less than buying the four separately.
Purchased by the farmer, or by the advisor on the farm's behalf. We can invoice either.
SB Farm is bought for a farm. Pay once for a cropping year and that year is unlocked permanently, for everyone who works on the farm. You never lose access to plans you have paid for. SB Agronomist is bought for a person. It is an ongoing subscription, and while it is active it unlocks its features on every farm you are on.

Where do you fit?

If your agronomist uses Soil Benchmark, they can send their recommendations straight to you. You and your whole team can look at them and record what you actually applied. That part costs you nothing.
Paying unlocks the paperwork for your own farm: your soil management plan, your nutrient plan, your spreading maps and your SFI26 application. That is SB Farm, £475 per farm for the cropping year. Your agronomist can buy it for you.
One licence, your whole client book
Build plans on as many farms as you like for free, so you can see the whole thing working before you spend anything. SB Agronomist is £500 per user, per year, and one licence covers every farm on your books.
It covers your day to day work on any farm, with or without SB Farm: writing and sharing recommendations, plus basic nutrient reports. Where a farm needs the full soil, nutrient and SFI documents, that farm needs SB Farm, which you can buy on its behalf.
What's changed, and what hasn't
Nothing you already buy has changed. Soil Sage and Nutrient Nerd are each still £200 per farm, per cropping year.
The advisor discount is still there too, taking the price to £150 per farm per product. The one difference is that it the discount now needs one of the users on that farm to hold an SB Agronomist licence - £500 a year or £49 a month.
What is new is that Crop Rex and SFI Shepherd unlock the same way, plus our new headline package: SB Farm - all four products on a farm for £475.

SB Agronomist covers the day-to-day work you do in a platform like Gatekeeper, Telus Farm Management (Greenlight/Muddy Boots), or Omnia. You can create and share fertiliser and spray recommendations, track them as they are applied on the farm, and produce basic nutrient reports across every farm you advise. Label, NVZ and RB209 compliance checks are built in and alert you as you go. It is £500 (+VAT) per user, per year, and you can add SB Farm on any farm that needs the full reports.

Nothing to start. You can add as many farms as you like, import your fields and soil results, and draft every plan without paying. You only pay to export the finished paperwork. SB Farm is £475 (+VAT) per farm, per cropping year and unlocks all four products. Any single product on its own is £200 (+VAT) per farm, per cropping year. SB Agronomist is £500 (+VAT) per user, per year, and unlocks the basics across your book, like sharing spray plans and a basic nutrient report - useful on farms that are not on SB Farm.
If you are paying for your own farm, SB Farm. If you do not need all four, you can just buy product by product: Soil Sage if you just want a soil management plan, Nutrient Nerd for nutrient plans and spreading maps, Crop Rex for spray plans, SFI Shepherd for SFI26 applications.
If you're a farm advisor, what you need depends on your client base. On farms that already have SB Farm, an SB Agronomist licence adds nothing, so if all your farms are on SB Farm you do not need to pay anything at all. SB Agronomist is the backup for the rest: farms that do not want to log onto farm software themselves and just want their recommendations on paper or by email, plus a basic nutrient plan for an inspection.
More than most people expect. Adding unlimited farms, importing your fields from an SBI number or a shapefile, adding your own soil results, bringing your Gatekeeper records across with Gatesweeper, and all the pre-populated risk maps, soil maps and sensitive areas. You can draft plans in all four products, see RB209 recommendations and live NVZ checks on screen, write spray recommendations checked against FERA Liaison as you go, and draft an SFI26 application with clash flags and cap tracking. What you pay for is taking the finished documents out.
With SB Farm, or any single product, you are buying one cropping year on one farm. Once you have paid, that year stays unlocked permanently and you never lose access to the plans you have paid for. A new cropping year is a new purchase.
SB Agronomist works differently: the licence is an ongoing subscription, and covers all your farms for as long as that subscription is active.
Yes. SB Farm (or any of the four individual products) can be bought by the farmer, or by the advisor on the farm's behalf, and we can invoice either of you.
No. There is no per-user charge on a farm. The whole team, including sprayer operators and farm secretaries, can view recommendations and record what was actually applied for no extra cost.
Yes. Any farm connected to an SB Agronomist licence gets single products at £150 instead of £200. There are also lower rates on both SB Farm and single products for smaller farms. Credits can also be bought in bulk with discounts, and can then be used to upgrade a farm for single products. The SB Farm and SB Agronomist pages have the detail - and if in doubt, the upgrade market section of the platform will explain the exact discounts available for each farm before you upgrade.

Then buy that product on its own, £200 (+VAT) per farm, per cropping year. Soil Sage gives you the Soil Management Plan and the Soil Management Table. You can add other products later, and if the farm is connected to a user with an SB Agronomist licence, then each one is £150 rather than £200.
Every farm you are on, for as long as the subscription is active. Job sheets, spray plans, product ordering, watermark-free snapshots and a basic nutrient report, including on farms that have not upgraded. SB Agronomist is bought per person, so the licence follows you rather than sitting on one farm.
The full documents. The Soil Management Plan, the full RB209 report, spreading maps, the compliance certificate, costing reports and the stock module all need SB Farm, or the relevant single product, on that farm.
