From Fera, whose data is ultimately based on the legal HSE registrations. That covers authorised products, approved uses, maximum doses and label conditions, and it tracks approvals as they change or are withdrawn. In practice that means a product which has lost its approval stops being offered, rather than sitting in a list until somebody notices.
Yes. As you build a recommendation it checks the product against the crop, the dose and the label conditions, and flags anything that is not authorised or that breaches a restriction, including HSE rules.
Yes. Recommendations are shared between the agronomist who writes them and the farm, so both sides look at the same live record rather than emailing PDFs back and forth. That carries through to what was actually done. When the farm marks a recommendation as applied, the agronomist sees it, so the as-applied record builds up in the same place as the plan.
Yes, and you need those records for Red Tractor. Mark each recommendation as applied and you build the application record alongside the plan, in one place, rather than keeping a separate spray diary.
No, you do not need to be BASIS qualified to use Crop Rex. You record your BASIS qualification on your profile, along with FACTS, and it then appears on every recommendation you produce.

Longer answer: without paying a penny you can add as many farms as you like, and use almost all the features of the platform. That could be viewing and editing the pre-populated risk maps, soil maps, details of waterways and sensitive areas, and auto-suggested management actions in Soil Sage. Or getting RB209 nutrient recommendations, planning manure or fertiliser applications, and checking NVZ compliance in Nutrient Nerd. Or creating - and checking the legality of - pesticide spray recommendations in Crop Rex. Or drafting your SFI26 application in SFI Shepherd.
SB Farm unlocks all four products on a farm for £475 per farm, per cropping year. Only need one? Any single product is £200 per farm, per cropping year, or £150 where one of the users on that farm has an active SB Agronomist licence.
You only pay when you are ready, and you can choose to convert any number of the farms you have loaded onto the system, for only the plans you require.
Agronomists can buy SB Farm on a farmer's behalf, and we can invoice either of you. For the rest of your clients - the farms without SB Farm - an SB Agronomist licence lets you carry on sharing spray and fertiliser recommendations and creating basic nutrient management reports. It's £500 per user, per year and covers every farm you have access to.
